I have been sitting here for a long time trying to find the right words to describe these two and I'm still lost. We first met them for a coffee to chat about their wedding and you could immediately see their love and adoration for one another. We were so excited after leaving that meeting and HOPED we would be the lucky ones to shoot their wedding!
We got to see them again for their engagement shoot (here) and somehow they seemed to have fallen deeper in love. I seem to say it so often but their engagement shoot photos are some of my all time favourite photos. Not only are the photos some of my favourites, but listening to their stories of how their relationship developed in and around Paarl Girls was just awesome.
In the days leading up to their wedding day, Jana and I exchanged a few voice notes and I'm not sure who was more excited! I knew spending their wedding day with them would be special but I hadn't realised the effect their wedding would have on those around them. Every single person at their wedding seemed to understand how special these two are. In the first few photographs of this post you'll see the groomsmen coming over with roses ... that is just a small example of what these two exchanged in the months leading up to their day.
I don't think their day could have gone any better Everything just seemed to flow so perfectly and we found some magical spots for their couple shoot photos close to their venue, Die Eike in Rawsonville.
Thank you for choosing us to capture the most wonderful celebration. We knew it was going to be a special day but you exceeded everyones expectations! We wish you years and years of continued love and happiness together and we hope you continue to inspire those around you.
